Das Künstlerpaar schafft mit Liebe zum Papier und einem pointierten Blick für die zufällige Schönheit des Alltags hauptsächlich Siebdrucke und Collagen. Sie orientieren sich ebenso an historischer politischer Plakatgraphik, wie an Dada und Pop Art. Dabei erforschen sie spielerisch und mit viel Humor sozialrelevante Themen, kulturelle Phänomene und Identitäten.
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Bildungreferentin Christina Castillón von der Open School 21 und unter künstlerischer Anleitung von Various & Gould haben sich die Schüler*innen der Goethe-Schule Harburg „Kinderrechte – Was hat das mit mir zu tun?!“ gemeinsam und interdisziplinär genähert. Das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit ist als als farbenfrohe Plakatkunst am Bauzaun zwischen Rieckhoffstraße und Gloria Tunnel in Hamburg-Harburg zu sehen.
With a love of paper and a keen eye for the accidental beauty of everyday life, the artist couple creates mainly silkscreens and collages. They are oriented as much on historical political poster art as on Dada and Pop Art. Playfully and with a lot of humor, they explore socially relevant topics, cultural phenomena, and identities.
In collaboration with the education officer Christina Castillón from Open School 21 and under the artistic guidance of Various & Gould, the students of the Goethe School Harburg approached „Children’s Rights – What does that have to do with me?!“ The result of the collaboration can be seen as colorful poster art on the hoarding side fence between Rieckhoffstraße and Gloria Tunnel in Hamburg-Harburg.
